Located in the west central part of Minnesota where glaciers formed hundreds of lakes and there are beautiful hardwood forests giving way to the prairie and plenty of open farmland. Within 5 miles of town are Lake Irene, Lake Miltona and Lake Vermont. All three have excellent fishing and recreational opportunities available. Tornado Days
Join Miltona for their annual TORNADO DAYS celebration (third weekend in July), which commemorates the town’s rebirth after the 1970 tornado. Located just 13 miles north of Alexandria. Many activities, music and entertainment for the whole family.
